UK Talk Radio is very pleased to be a part of the 7th birthday celebrations at The Grove Hotel. On the day we chatted to The Mayor and two of the guests at the hotel specialising in helping cancer patients on holiday in Dorset .

The Grove Hotel are a non-profit making organisation who provide accommodation for people with life-threatening illnesses and also their family and friends. This amazing hotel is based in Bournemouth, Dorset and is situated 5 minutes away from Bournemouth’s 7 miles of golden sands, the town centre is also minutes away and there is so much to explore……including The New Forest and The Purbecks.

At The 7th Birthday Celebrations of The very special Grove Hotel in Bournemouth, UK Talk Radio’s Jonathan Hines had a delightful chat with the new……and LAST Mayor of Bournemouth before the merging of Bournemouth Poole and Christchurch, Councillor Derek Borthwick.
Councillor Borthwick was thrilled to be part of The Hotel’s 7th birthday celebrations at this hotel in an idyllic location of Bournemouth for people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
Micheal Burn lives in Folkestone and he is a sprightly 81 year old enjoying the Grove Hotel. This is the prefect respite holiday in Bournemouth as Micheal who was in the seaside hotel for his 29th visit explains below to radio presenter Geoff Carter.
Pam Taylor had made the journey from Somerset to be at the Grove Hotel. Pam explained more about the friends she had made during her stays and why it was such a nice atmosphere in this hotel set in the seaside resort of Bournemouth.
