A Dreamlike Journey

Someday (Re-imagined)
It began as a solitary piano motif

My name is Rafael Montecruz. My new song is a haunting, slow-blooming piece told by a narrator in love with a mirage—an apparition stitched from memory and longing. It drifts on that fragile seam where waking blurs into dream, asking whether the heart can yearn for someone who never quite existed… or perhaps existed once and dissolved like mist at sunrise.
What began as a solitary piano motif unfurled into a fuller tapestry that became “Someday (Reimagined)” . The lyrics are a guided lens—an intimate, dream-state perspective—inviting listeners to inhabit the protagonist’s inner cinema and feel the ache, the hope, the hush between breaths.

This track is a new rendering of my original song “Someday,” which first lived as a minimal arrangement—piano, cellos, and voice. On this version, Abraham Armell lends his distinctive vocal presence, threading warmth and vulnerability through the melody.

“Dime Que Será De Ti” (Alternate Mix)

“Dime Que Será De Ti” is the Spanish counterpart to “Tell Me Why (Remix)”—my first Spanish-language release in over eight years. Because “Tell Me Why (Remix)” resonated so strongly across Latin America, I returned to the mic en español. On this version, I sing the lead while Abraham Armell provides the backing harmonies, giving the track a layered, emotive glow.
