My name is Rodney Standlee and I am from Meeker Oklahoma in the United States. I have been writing songs for over twenty years. I enjoy the process of telling stories in a way that cause the listener to actually create in their minds, imagery from their own life experiences, creating a real connection to what they are listening to. That was my goal when I wrote and produced Small Town. This is how I see Small Town life in my home town of Meeker Oklahoma, which I believe to be very typical of small town life. A community family that comes together to celebrate the good things in life and to be there for one another in time of need.
